Sonoma Valley
Located on the eastern of edge of the town of Sonoma, this vineyard recalls a time in California viticulture where Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc were more the exception than the rule. Planted in 1954, the vineyard is composed of Gewurztraminer, Trousseau gris, Riesling, Roter Veltliner, and several other varieties yet to be identified, all lovingly and organically farmed by organic master viticulturist Phil Coturri. With yields typically below 2 tons per acre, this is always our first vineyard to harvest.
