2019 Vintage
The third wettest May on record led to an abundance of growth in spring and early summer. Managing the thick canopies was key to producing great wines. Overall a much warmer year than 2018 marked by several heatwaves, although thankfully none like the Labor Day heatwave of 2017. Wines are low in acidity and very precocious with head-turning aromas and explosive flavors. A vintage to enjoy early.
